Last year, Conan Salada of Black Sheep Rising threw a bonfire and over fifty people attended. This year, he’s doing it again! It starts Friday 10/30 at 7pm and will go likely past midnight. Bring your own beverages and food. Here’s a facebook event to which you can RSVP.
The bonfire is just one of several outside-the-hotel activities happening during Keenevention including Robin Hooding, Cop Block, HALLOWKEENE, Social Sunday, and more. Check out the activities page for full details!
Keenevention is Hallowkeene weekend, October 30th through November 1st. Tickets for the third-annual Keenevention are just $60 or BTC for the whole weekend, including the Hallowkeene costume dance party! Pre-event ticketing is limited to 100, so lock yours in now.

Libertarian presidential Candidate Darryl W. Perry will be hosting the first-ever Political Action Panel at Keenevention 2015! Not all political action happens at the statehouse, or by members of the two factions of the Ruling Party. The Political Action Panel will discuss various ways to make an impact on politics from outside the two party system! Panelists to include former NH Libertarian Party gubernatorial candidate John Babiarz, Alstead Town Selectman Chris Rietmann, and former Libertarian state representative Don Gorman.

Cantwell has withdrawn from Keenevention
I don’t expect perfection from the humans that take part in liberty activism. We’ve all got flaws. Though I knew some would protest my decision (usually by talking behind my back), I invited Christopher Cantwell to keynote Keenevention while other liberty conventions had booted him at the first sign of upset by potential attendees. Inviting someone to speak doesn’t mean I endorse everything they are going to say. The invite is an acknowledgement of the person as an activist in New Hampshire.
Whether you like Chris or not, he’s done some great activism. For instance, he, Derrick, and I worked full-time doing bitcoin outreach at this year’s county fair, and Chris was awesome. The last year has also been a growing experience for Chris as he’s connected with the Keene police including Lt. Steve Tenney and new chief Brian Costa as human beings and had to revise his worldview as a result.
I was hoping he’d talk about those experiences on-stage at Keenevention, but sadly he’s decided to pull out of the event. I suspect being removed as a co-host of Free Talk Live was a factor in his decision.
Thanks to all of you who are willing to speak at or attend Keenevention despite any personal issues you may have with one or more of our speakers. I’m grateful for your support – you understand that liberty is bigger than petty personality conflicts.
